Job Details

Access Hollywood is looking to build out their digital team for expansion of short-form video and social content. The right candidate for this job can work very fast and feels comfortable working under a tight daily deadline. We are looking for someone with experience in producing graphics for use in streaming and stop motion videos.

Responsibilities:

Work with the Access Hollywood Managing Editor and Social Media Producers to develop, produce, and edit digital graphics and stop motion video to be used for videos on 3rd party video partners; YouTube, AOL, Hulu, etc., various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & Snapchat and on accesshollywood.com

  • Build graphics and animations
  • Work closely with on-air producers, news, hosts and the Managing Editor.
  • Provides creative input to the digital preditors for the Access Hollywood digital platforms to maximize the performance of the video and social content on the applicable platforms. 
  • Must understand and translate show’s brand strategy into quality design.
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning and marketing messaging.

Qualifications:

 

Interested candidate MUST submit an online portfolio for review and consideration

Graphic designer should have at least 2-3 years of design experience. 
A Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications Design, a related field and/or equivalent training or work experience. 
Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Strong typographical skills and Photoshop comping necessary. Experience in Adobe Premier and After Effects a plus. 
A portfolio featuring a wide range of projects, showcasing a strong understanding of type and composition, and the ability to approach projects/brand identity in a creative and innovative way. 
An affinity for celebrity and entertainment media. 
A positive, can-do attitude; proactive in learning and growing. 
The ability to work quickly and maintain a detail-oriented approach to working in a fast-paced environment. 
Ability to communicate clearly and articulately about the work and process. 
A wholehearted openness to feedback and direction. 
Ability to take feedback and apply it broadly across multiple deliverables.

Requirements

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA

Must be willing to work occasional late evening time periods

Must be willing to work an occasional weekend day shift if needed

Must have work authorization to work in the United States

Must be 18 years or older

 

Desired Characteristics:

Previous work experience for a commercial online service in television or film and/or digital media agency is preferred.

Prior experience in the entertainment industry preferred.

Experience in entertainment news a plus.

Looking for a candidate with original and exciting style; A portfolio with samples of work a plus.

Able to work independently and be able to make editorial decisions that are on message for the show’s brand.

Proficiency with Adobe Premiere suite & After Effects Graphics -Be able to do effects with motion.

Work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
